How to change flat tyres

Contrary to common belief, changing flat tyres is not that complicated, and you don"t have to be a super strong person to do it. You only should have some necessary tools and a spare tyre! The first thing that you ought to do is to park your car off the road on an even surface. You also must turn the hazard lights on. Then put a stone or a piece of heavy rock in front or behind the opposite tyre to prevent the car from moving down the hill. Do this even if the car seems to be parked on relatively flat ground. Then find some tools such as the car jack, the tyre iron and the spare tyre. Remove the hubcap and then loosen the nuts that keep the wheel in place. Then jack you car up, leaving a lot of space for putting the new tyre. Remove the old one, put the spare one in on its place and replace the nuts. If you are not sure how to do it, look for some instructions for your car. Then lower the car jack, remove it and install the hubcap. As you can see, replacing flat tyres can be done even by an inexperienced driver. Perhaps it might seem complicated the first time round, but once you know how to do it, you will always remember it. I hope you don"t have to do it at all, of course, but anything can happen, so it"s always better to be prepared.
